November is Alzheimer’s awareness month

Did you know that November is National Alzheimer’s awareness month? An estimated 6.7 million Americans older than 65 have Alzheimer’s disease. By 2050, the number of people age 65 and older with Alzheimer’s and dementia is projected to reach 12.7 million. And since there is no cure yet for Alzheimer’s Disease, the best thing we can do is to better understand the disease so we can take steps to prevent it or manage it.
