It exclusively features classic courses and is the second retro cup overall; these may be from any cup of a previous game, though they are more commonly from the Mushroom Cup or Flower Cup. The cup is somewhat more difficult than the Shell Cup, and its difficulty is comparable to that of the Flower Cup. The emblem of the cup is a Banana. The Banana Cup also appears in Mario Tennis Open, following the Flower Cup and preceding the Champions Cup.
