Produced by Deepak Mukut, the film stars Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane in their Hindi film debuts, with Anurag Sinha, Manish Chaudhari, Murli Sharma and Sudesh Berry. Inder and Saru fall in love and get married but a tragedy changes their lives forever.[12] The cinematography was done by Chirantan Das, the music is given by Himesh Reshammiya, while the lyrics are written by Reshammiya, Sameer Anjaan, Shabbir Ahmed and Subrat Sinha.[13] Sanam Teri Kasam was released worldwide on 5 February 2016 under Eros International. It received mixed reviews from critics, and was a commercial failure in its first release. It was re-released on 7 February, 2025, and emerged as a commercial success.[14] Plot :- Inder Lal Parihaar, now a successful lawyer, visits the grave of Saru Parthasaarthy, the woman he loved and lost. Their love story began years ago when Saru, a traditional librarian, was rejected by suitors and promised to find a husband to avoid delaying her sister’s wedding. Inder, an ex-convict who moved into the building Saru lived in, immediately fell for her. After several misunderstandings, including a failed attempt to impress her colleague Abhimanyu, Saru and Inder grew closer. However, after a series of events, including Saru being disowned by her father and her terminal illness being revealed, they finally confessed their love. Saru’s health worsened, and on their wedding day, she fainted and was hospitalized. Saru later died in Inder’s arms, leaving him devastated. In the aftermath, Inder reconciled with his estranged father, Rajinder, and found peace. Years later, standing at Saru's grave beneath the tree she had wanted to be buried under, Inder reflects on the lasting impact of their love, promising his eternal devotion to her memory.
