We finally did it. Mario Kart 64 is in the books. Every cup, every track, every bad decision accounted for. It wasn’t clean, it wasn’t pretty, but the Boiiz saw it through like true N64 retro gaming professionals who absolutely did not plan this far ahead. After way too much arguing, second-guessing, and immediate regret, we locked in the ranking. Star Cup takes the crown, Special Cup is brutal but beautiful, Mushroom Cup does its job, and Flower Cup brings up the rear. This was a hard ranking, mostly because each cup takes turns being great and then immediately disrespectful. That’s the magic of Mario Kart 64—it rewards persistence and punishes confidence in equal measure.
