New Super Mario Bros Wii - World 2 : Part 1

World 2 is a desert! Are you surprised? Huh, huh huh huh?! Yeah, no... This game obvious derives a lot of inspiration from Super Mario Bros. 3, and is part of the reason this tradition of world 2 being a desert continues... Many of the gimmicks come from that game too... at least the enemy-based ones! The world's not so great overall, but it could be far worse. The only kinda bad stage in this batch is the first... as the sand geysers are not the best of gimmicks. The rest are pretty good overall! I think part of the reason I am not a fan of desert worlds is just their lack of colour... sure it is not dirt brown and grey like other games, but sand is not all that exciting either! Enjoy!~
