We first start by going over all the steps. Step 1: Balance the element that appears in only one reactant and one product Step 2: Repeat for other elements until all coefficients are assigned Step 3: If fractions are present, multiply all coefficients by a number (usually 2 or 3) such that all coefficients are whole numbers Step 4: Double check reaction is balanced We'll then go through three examples step by step. The examples start easy and then get more difficult. By the end of this video, you'll be able to balance any chemical equations.
