It is built on a seam-welded chassis that signficantly increases rigidity and has a fully independent suspension with double wishbones at the front and rear. Due to a high number of weight reduction applications including the absence of air conditioning and elimination of sound insulation, its weight is only 2403 lb (1090 kg), making it the lightest Type R model to date. Despite a small displacement, its B16B codenamed 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine produces 182 hp (136 kW) at 8200 rpm. A key feature of the B16B is DOHC VTEC, a variable valve lift timing system designed to increase power and overall efficiency at higher rpms. The EK9 codenamed Civic Type R was only available for the Japanese domestic market and ran production until 2000. The second generation, EP3 codenamed model debuted in 2001. #forzahorizon4 #logitechg27 #honda
