Surah At-Tāriq (86) verses 9–17, Surah At-Tāriq (86:9) Arabic: يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ English: The Day when all secrets will be exposed. Explanation: On the Day of Judgment, every hidden intention, belief, and deed will be revealed by Allah. Surah At-Tāriq (86:10) Arabic: فَمَا لَهُ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ English: Then man will have no power or helper. Explanation: No one will be able to protect or help a person except Allah on that Day. Surah At-Tāriq (86:11) Arabic: وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ English: By the sky which returns (rain). Explanation: Allah swears by the sky that repeatedly sends rain, a sign of His power and mercy. Surah At-Tāriq (86:12) Arabic: وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ English: And the earth which cracks open. Explanation: The earth splits to bring forth plants, showing Allah’s ability to give life. Surah At-Tāriq (86:13) Arabic: إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ English: Indeed, this Qur’an is a decisive word. Explanation: The Qur’an clearly separates truth from falsehood. Surah At-Tāriq (86:14) Arabic: وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ English: And it is not amusement. Explanation: The Qur’an is serious guidance, not entertainment or false speech. Surah At-Tāriq (86:15) Arabic: إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا English: Indeed, they are planning a plan. Explanation: The disbelievers plot against Islam and the Prophet ﷺ. Surah At-Tāriq (86:16) Arabic: وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا English: But I am planning a plan. Explanation: Allah’s plan is greater and will overcome all false plots. Surah At-Tāriq (86:17) Arabic: فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا English: So give respite to the disbelievers; let them have a little time.
