The time was approaching for Jesus to be taken to heaven. So he set out for Jerusalem, 52 and sent messengers ahead of him. They set out and entered a Samaritan village to prepare lodging for Jesus. 53 But the Samaritans did not welcome him, because Jesus seemed to be going to Jerusalem. 54 When his disciples James and John saw this, they said, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?" 55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them. 56 And they went on to another village. 🔴 Are you enjoying the content?
