Forza Horizon 4 is an open world racing video game developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios.[1] It was released on 2 October 2018 on Xbox One and Microsoft Windows after being announced at Xbox's E3 2018 conference.[2][3] The game is set in a fictionalised representation of the United Kingdom.[1][2][3] It is the fourth Forza Horizon title and eleventh instalment in the Forza series. The game is noted for its introduction of changing seasons to the series. It is also the last game in the Forza series to be published under the Microsoft Studios moniker before their name was changed to Xbox Game Studios in February 2019.
