Solid State Lithium Ion Batteries

Speaker: Boyang Liu Time: 2/18/2016, 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm Title: Solid State Lithium Ion Batteries Abstract: Lithium ion batteries are widely used now, however safety problems is an important issue that needs to be solved. Solid state battery gives a solution to prevent leakage and flaming. This talk will give brief introduction to different kinds of solid state batteries, and focus on interface conduction of solid state batteries, which the speaker is now working on. Bio: Boyang Liu is a second year ph.d. student in ECE department. He got his bachelor degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China in 2014. He is currently working on batteries and energy storage materials.
