Find a quiet spot, free from distractions, where you can focus on God’s presence. As we move through this meditation, engage your heart—visualize the scriptures, let the words take root in your soul, and repeat the prayers. "Quiet my heart, Lord. Help me be fully present with You. I rest in the knowledge that You are here, shaping me, molding me, completing a good work in me." "I come before You now, seeking stillness. In stillness, I lay down my burdens. Through scripture, I hear Your voice. In Your presence, I find strength that cannot be shaken." I slow my breath and quiet my thoughts. I imagine myself in a quiet room, surrounded by soft, golden light. I feel weary. My heart is heavy. There are things I haven’t spoken aloud… Pains I’ve tried to push down… Losses I don’t know how to process. But here, I don’t have to pretend. Here, I can be undone. I take a deep breath and slowly exhale. I hear a whisper, steady and true: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted…” In my mind, I see Him. Not far off. Not distant. He is sitting beside me. Quietly, lovingly present. His eyes are kind. He is not rushed. He isn’t trying to fix me—He’s simply here. I feel the weight in my chest begin to lift. He sees the part of me that is crushed in spirit… and He doesn’t turn away. He leans in closer. His nearness is comfort. His presence is my healing. Lord, I bring You the pieces of my heart— The parts that feel too broken to mend. The quiet sadness I carry but struggle to name. The grief I still don’t understand. I don’t have to hide with You. You already see. You already know. Still, You draw near. You are not afraid of my brokenness. You’re not impatient with my healing. You are close—closer than breath, closer than pain. You are the One who saves the crushed in spirit. So I surrender this crushed place to You. I breathe in Your peace. And exhale the pressure to have it all together. Breathe in: You are close to me. Exhale: You are healing me. Even in my brokenness, I am held. Even in my sadness, I am seen. You are near. You are near. I place my hand on my heart and take a deep, slow breath. I hold it for a moment… Then exhale with release. I speak these truths over myself: • God is near to my broken heart. • He saves me when I am crushed in spirit. • I am not alone. • He is with me in every tear and every breath. Thank You, Father, for this moment to pause and rest in Your Word. Selah is an invitation—to stop, reflect, and be strengthened in Your presence. Through stillness, scripture, and strength, I find the faith I need. Until next time, I will stay in Your presence and let hope overflow. Selah.
