Keep Hope Alive

Keep Hope Alive

Podcast on A Journey of Faith—Keep Hope Alive April 17 Anchor Scripture this week is Psalm 37:5,7 TPT “Give God the right to direct your life, and as you trust Him along the way you’ll find he pulled it off perfectly.” “Quiet your heart in HIs presence and pray: keep hope alive as you long for God to come through for you. And don’t think for a moment that the wicked in their prosperity are better off than you.” My learning of this week: 1. This week I am recording this podcast is Holy Week. The week Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a young donkey. The week He ate with His friends the last supper. The week Jesus washed His disciples feet. The week He sweated blood, wore a crown of thorns, was beaten, was spit on and nailed to the cross and died for our sins. So we could be free of eternal death. He took our sins and made the way for the gift of eternal life. He rose from the dead and lives for us and in us. This week is so holy and we have insight into what Jesus was thinking. He was thinking of us. His love poured out for us. 2. We need faith that God knows what He is doing. He is full of surprises for us. This week I played in a charity golf tournament in Kerrville for Arms of Hope. I never dreamed I could do this. 3. Keep hope alive. My dreams of the future and the purpose and plans for Earl and I together to minister in other countries has been awakened. 4. As I watch my sons and their families walk this journey of faith, I am so encouraged by God’s direction in their lives. They are making decisions with God’s help and direction. 5. Don’t compare with others. It will steal your joy. God has momentum for us today. Hope needs to rise up and live inside of us. Ask God for the impossible. Jesus is alive.
