But….theres more that we can do. On the 2nd option I am using the Right Hand Palm Muting technique, which gives the bass a deeper and rounder sound. Now, to make it even more round, I am also using the left hand muting. Where we play with the pointer finger only, and use all other fingers to lightly touch the string and muffle the sound. I find this combination the best to emulate the sound of James Jamerson on the bass.
