Mad Max | Fumehead's Debt | 11/12/24

This game is so freaking good. Every time I boot this game up, I find so much joy in the simple yet vast game. I'm just Batman with no moral protection for life. The cars are so fun to drive and battle with. It would have been cool to have some sort of PVP mode in this game that lets you race or battle friends. Gosh, a world where Twisted Metal isn't making games, it's hard to find a good game with vehicle combat. This doesn't even emulate Twisted Metal gameplay, but there's so few games in the car combat genre that it's the easiest thing to compare it to. All they have to do to revive the game again is modernize the structure of the game. Well, they also need to make Twisted Metal Black 2, or there's little to no chance it'll catch traction like that PS5 game that flopped. I think the aesthetic was too Overwatch-ey to fit the style of gameplay that car combat can be. You want to see sparks and metal go flying while bullets hail down and rockets are fired out of the back seat of another car. Like I said, this game has a good combat in vehicles, but it is not arena battle fun, it is more like Death Race, where it's more about bashing into people and using weapons, you have on board instead of picking up things in the arena. Well, there you go. A big wall of text that isn't really about the game the text is attached to, but instead about the games I wish it was instead. How gracious of me. -Thank you.
