In our modern mass-produced world, everybody is looking for that "one of a kind" item. funnily enough, the rarest items today, are the items no one wanted before. failed releases, unpopular consoles, or just crappy gameplay have gone from being the worst to become the most coveted. 1. Gamma Attack This Atari 2600 game is the only game Gammation made and that's not surprising, the game is dull and boring and may induce epileptic fits. it is however very rare and is valued at $50,000. 2. Nintendo 1990 World Championship (Gold Edition) This cartridge was a Nintendo power contest prize and was awarded to the winner and 25 runner-ups, meaning there should be 26 in existence although only a few have been found. One copy was sold for $21,000. 3. Nintendo 1991 Campus Challenge Similar to the 1990 world championship but focused on college students. These cartridges were supposed to be destroyed after the competition but one was sold recently by a former Nintendo employee for $21,100. 4. Red Sea Crossing Another Atari game, there were 100 copies made but no one knew where they were until in 2007 someone found one in a garage sale and resold it for $14,000, a second one was found later in Philadelphia and went for $10,000. 5. Atlantis 2 This game was only given to the top players in the Atlantis 1 competition. The top 4 players were sent to Bermuda for the finals and the prize was $10,000. although the game is called Atlantis 2 its just the Atlantis 1 game made harder and even comes in the same cartridge with a white label saying Atlantis 2. Prices range between $5,000-$18,000 depending on condition. 6. The Ultimate 11 The European version of this game is called Super sidekicks and is worth more than the American one. This is probably because even though soccer is more popular in Europe than America the neo geo wasn't. prices range between $4,800-$10,000. 7. The King Of Fighters 2000 (English edition) Another failed Neo Geo game, There were only 100 copies made and most seem to have disappeared, kind of like everything else Neo Geo. to buy one now will cost you from $3,500-$6,000. 8. Tetris (Megadrive) The cheapest you'll find this game selling for is $3,000. why? ...well ...The game failed, the console failed, and the company failed. They didn't even have the rights to the game as Nintendo did, but considering the lack of sales Nintendo probably didn't even notice! 9. Karate This game was released by Ultravision and Froggo games. For some reason, the Froggo version sold more meaning the Ultravision version is now Ultra rare and worth $4,000 even though the only difference between the 2 is the game case's artwork. 10. Elemental Gearbolt (Assassins Case Edition) This PlayStation game was awarded during a 1998 E33 tournament and only 40 copies exist. The case includes the game, a golden light gun, and a golden memory card and if you want one it'll cost you between $1,400 and $1,750. Had you heard of these games? Comment below!
