What’s wrong with me? I spend a ton of money on sleeping bags, insulated mats, and warm tents — and then I go sleep out in the snow without any of them! Yeah, I hiked a few miles into the forest — no tent, no sleeping bag. I built two winter shelters using a tarp and showed the best type of shelter for when you really don’t want to freeze to death. The temperature dropped way below zero, and I cooked reindeer leg on a handmade wooden grill, baked some bread over the fire, and survived the cold like a wild caveman.
