Q.1 Construct a quadrilateral PQRS where PQ = 4.5 cm QR = 3.5 cm RS = 5 cm, PS = 4 cm and PR = 6 cm. Construction - 1. Draw a line Segment PR = 6 cm 2. With P as a centre and radius 4.5 cm, draw an arc (above PR). 3. With R as a centre and radius 3.5 cm, draw another arc cutting the previous one at Q. Join PQ and RQ. 4. With P as a centre and radius 4 cm, draw an arc (below PR). 5. With R as a centre and radius 5 cm, draw another arc cutting the previous one at S. Join PS and RS. Thus, PQRS is the required quadrilateral.
