In all honesty, the last few minutes of It: Welcome To Derry, that is, the scenes after they have defeated Pennywise and put him to sleep for the next 27-28 years… well, these few minutes of footage had more easter eggs and references and call backs than the entire show put together. We get to know why Marge would name her son Richie, why and how the Hanlons choose to stay back in Derry after all the troubles they had to face, we meet Beverly and see her possible connection with Lilly Bainbridge, we also learn why Mike Hanlon gets into the habit of writing down Derry’s history. But of course, one of the most important easter eggs comes through Dick Hallorann, who says he has gotta catch a bus to Boston and then a train to London in the AM, where he would take up a friend’s offer on serving as a cook at a restaurant. #DickHallorann #TheShining #DoctorSleep #StephenKing #welcometoderry
