THE NEW US CITIZENSHIP TEST: 128 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 2025 (USCIS) 128 NUEVAS PREGUNTAS IN ENGLISH

USCIS has revised the civics section of the U.S. citizenship test. The new civics test is called the “2025 version of the civics test”. It was published on Wednesday November 17, 2025. The new citizenship test has 128 questions. As you can imagine, this test looks a lot different from the previous version. First, the number of questions has increased. Secondly many of the questions in the old version are no longer in this new version. During the naturalization interview, the USCIS officer will ask 20 civics questions to each applicant. The 20 questions are chosen at random from the list of 128 questions. In order to pass the civics test, the applicant must answer at least 12 questions correctly.
