Chances for thunderstorms continue through Thursday

Showers and thunderstorms, including some severe storms, will move eastward during the morning hours, with the highest chances for rain and severe weather north of I-10 and from the Hill Country eastward. Skies should begin to clear for most areas behind the rain, allowing temperatures to rise into the 80s and low 90s. TODAY: Partly Sunny, 50% AM Rain HIGHS: 87 - 91 WINDS: SSE 8 - 16mph Some showers or t-storms will start the day. Lingering showers possible through the rest of the morning with thunder possible. The afternoon turns partly sunny, hot and humid with a chance for an isolated shower or storm in areas east of I-35 into our eastern zone counties. WEDNESDAY: Partly Sunny, 30% Rain HIGHS: 85 - 89 WINDS: ESE 6 - 12mph Partly sunny skies through the day with a few pop-up showers and thunderstorms. Areas to the south and toward the gulf may see a little higher coverage of showers and thunderstorms. THURSDAY: Partly Sunny, 30% Rain (late in day) HIGHS: 82 - 86 WINDS: NE 8 - 16mph A mix of clouds and sun with a few showers or storms possible by the evening.
