My Hero

My mom was my hero. And now that I’m older, I realize the sacrifices she made for our family. She inspires me to raise my kids with the same strength and optimism that she showed me; to give of myself so that the burdens of others might be lighter. That is her legacy to our family; I want it to be my legacy to this country.
