STYLIZED FOREST ENVIRONMENT | UNREAL ENGINE

This project showcases a stylized forest environment inspired by the world of Pokémon. I aimed to create immersive and inviting scenes that capture the spirit of adventure and wonder often associated with these beloved creatures and their world. Workflow and Software: To achieve the final look of these stylized environments, I utilized a variety of industry-standard software: Modeling: Autodesk Maya was my foundation, used to create the underlying structure of the environments, including the terrain, rocks, and buildings. Sculpting: ZBrush allowed me to add a layer of organic detail and character to the models, giving life to stylized trees, flowing waterfalls, and playful foliage. Baking: Marmoset Toolbag was instrumental in transferring high-resolution details onto optimized, game-ready meshes, ensuring both visual fidelity and performance. Texturing: Substance Painter became my digital canvas, where I brought vibrant colors and stylized textures to the environments, creating a visually engaging experience. Alpha Creation: Substance Designer and Photoshop were my tools for generating custom alphas, adding unique patterns and intricate details to the surfaces. Tree Generation: With Tree It, I efficiently populated the expansive forests, adding depth and realism to the scenes. Rendering and Materials: Finally, Unreal Engine served as the stage where the environments came together. I crafted and implemented materials, including RVT materials, set up the lighting, and rendered the final images, capturing the magic of these stylized Pokémon worlds.
