The moment of inertia is a measure of an object's resistance to rotational motion. The larger an object's moment of inertia, the more difficult it is to rotate. The moment of inertia is calculated by taking into account the mass and distribution of an object's mass around its axis of rotation. Objects with a larger mass have a larger moment of inertia, while those with a smaller mass have a smaller moment of inertia. Additionally, the distribution of an object's mass will also affect its moment of inertia.
