God of War Ragnarok Vanadis (Freya) Boss Fight Guide!! How to defeat Vanadis, Freya - The Valkyrie This kill demonstrates how to defeat the Vanadis boss AKA Freya AKA the Valkyrie Queen. This boss fight you will come across in your completion of the new God of War Ragnarok game. This kill was completed on the Give Me No Mercy difficulty but you can use the exact same tactics on Give Me God of War difficulty or lower. The aim of the fight is to play your distance against Vanadis. She will come in close with a slam attack or use her flurry attack upon you. After both of these attacks you can retaliate with your own abilities and axe swings. Throughout the fight she will continue to fire arrows towards you, you can block most of these with just a general shield block. Use your abilities as you get them and use them for the extra damage and stun. I would suggest rotating around her in the arena as you see me do and take advantage of her coming in close once she's finished her attacks. Repeat this until you defeat Vanadis. Good luck!
