11 September 2020 Morning Bible study 朝の聖書勉強 ヤコブとエサウ Jacob and Esau Today’s Scripture 今日のみことば Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary. And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom. But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.” And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” Then Jacob said, “Swear to me as of this day.” So he swore to him, and sold his birthright to Jacob. And Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils; then he ate and drank, arose, and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭25:29-34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ "さて、ヤコブが煮物を煮ているとき、エサウが飢え疲れて野から帰って来た。 エサウはヤコブに言った。「どうか、その赤いのを、そこの赤い物を私に食べさせてくれ。私は飢え疲れているのだから。」それゆえ、彼の名はエドムと呼ばれた。 するとヤコブは、「今すぐ、あなたの長子の権利を私に売りなさい」と言った。 エサウは、「見てくれ。死にそうなのだ。長子の権利など、今の私に何になろう」と言った。 それでヤコブは、「まず、私に誓いなさい」と言ったので、エサウはヤコブに誓った。こうして彼の長子の権利をヤコブに売った。 ヤコブはエサウにパンとレンズ豆の煮物を与えたので、エサウは食べたり、飲んだりして、立ち去った。こうしてエサウは長子の権利を軽蔑したのである。" 創世記　25章29～34節
