We look at today’s gospel reading (John 1:35-42) and the alternative gospel (Mark 1:13-16). In the former, John was with his two disciples. When Jesus passes by, he tells them “Look! There is the Lamb of God!” It is the most meaningful title given to Jesus in the Bible. When the two disciples caught up with Jesus, Jesus asks them: “What do you want?” In our reflection today, we ask ourselves the same question: “What do I want?” This is the 285th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
