Tyler Robinson, the man charged with murdering Charlie Kirk, is scheduled to appear in court on Monday in Provo, Utah. Robinson and his new legal counsel will decide if they want a preliminary hearing where a judge will determine if there is enough evidence against Robinson to move forward with a trial. Prosecutors have charged Robinson with aggravated murder and plan to seek the death penalty. According to the Associated Press, the Utah state court system gives individuals accused of crimes the choice to waive their legal right to a preliminary hearing and instead schedule an arraignment where they can enter a plea.
