🧩 Resident Evil 4 Remake – Chapter 1 (Leon S. Kennedy) Mission Beginning The year is 2004, six years after the Raccoon City incident. Leon is now a special agent of the US government. His task: to rescue Ashley Graham, the daughter of the American President, who has been kidnapped and is believed to be hiding in a remote Spanish village. Entering the Village Leon is escorted by two Spanish police officers to the edge of the forest. While inspecting a house, he finds the villagers behaving strangely. The villagers brutally attack Leon → this is Leon's first encounter with a Ganado (villager infected with the Las Plagas parasite). Leon fights back, then realizes the two police officers have been killed. Attack on the Village Leon heads to the center of the village. As soon as he enters, he is attacked by dozens of Ganado. Leon must survive a massive siege until the bell rings. After the church bell rings, the Ganado suddenly stop attacking and enter the church, muttering about "Señor Saddler." Leon, puzzled, utters the iconic line: "Where's everyone going? Bingo?" End of Chapter 1 Leon realizes the grave threat he faces. He is determined to continue his search for Ashley, while also finding out who is behind the mysterious cult. 🔑 Chapter 1 Focus Introduction to the Spanish village setting.
