Solo Cruise isn't like Solo Mode in Mario Party 6. Instead you play against one opponent on every single board in the game but with a different objective to win. Sometimes it just getting two stars, other times is make it to the top with 100 coins. Who knows. This is the closest thing to a story mode in this game.
