The Nexus between Transnational Organized Crime and Terrorism

The nexus between transnational organized crime and terrorism represents a growing threat worldwide. The confluence of criminal and terrorist actors, tactics, and resources enables them to gain stronger capacities to threaten peace, security, and economic development. In this video, UNICRI staff members and experts discuss the emerging challenges in this field and share good practices on how to break the nexus in different regions of the world.
