Selecting the Pen Tool: Choose the Pen Tool from the toolbar or press P on your keyboard. 2. Basic Pen Tool Techniques: Creating Straight Lines: Click on the canvas to create anchor points. Click again to create a straight line between the points. To complete the path, click back on the first anchor point or press Ctrl/Command and click on an empty area to end the path. Creating Curved Lines: Click to create the starting anchor point. Click and drag to create a curved line. Adjust the direction and length of the handles to control the curve. Continue clicking and dragging to add more anchor points and curves. 3. Editing Paths: Adding Anchor Points: Select the Add Anchor Point Tool from the Pen Tool menu or press the plus (+) key.
