The goal is to be able to keep your combos as you race through one lap. Bowser Jr.: To receive 3 grand stars, you should have 22 or more combo counts. Wario: To receive 3 grand stars, you should have 30 or more combo counts. SNES Mario Circuit 3 is set up as a T-course, which contains ramps and bumps for jump boosts to chain combo attacks. The only downside is that it's a long course which means you need to maintain your combos by taking advantage of every coin, every ramp, bump, etc. The good thing about this course is that item boxes give you mushrooms to chain your combos into the next combo. N64 Frappe Snowland is also set up as a T-course, which contains ramps and bumps for jump boosts to chain combo attacks. Take advantage of the bumps on the road where coins are. Connect your mushrooms as shown in the video. Hitting snowmen also counts in the combo chain. When gliding, swerve down then up to glide for more distance and combos. Tips/Tricks: Drifting also helps you chain combos in between. Try to practice drifting from a jump boost to continue your chains. Release when you feel that you need to connect into a coin or ramp.
