Testing The Beast

Testing a Milwaukee 1-1/2 inch x 18 inch Ship Auger for use to drill holes in my Yucca Tree stumps. The Black and Decker Fire Storm 6.8 amp hammer drill struggled to drill the 1-1/2 inch hole in a block of 2x4 wood. However, the core of the Yucca tree stump(s) are not as hard as a pine 2x4, and hopefully will do the job. I intend on putting all vegetation killer concentrate into the holes once drilled to kill the Yucca tree stumps. Only time will tell. One thing I did notice about the Ship auger, is the fact that it seemed to be dull and not as sharp as other drill bits I've used in the past.
