The Ascension of Our Lord Seventh Sunday of Easter June 1, 2025 - 11:00 am A warm welcome to all worshiping with Resurrection Lutheran Church. We celebrate our Savior’s love in the faithful gathering of God’s people in His house today. Celebrating Jesus’ ascension can be a weird thing. Are we celebrating that Jesus has left us on earth to fend for ourselves? Not at all! In fact, we celebrate Jesus’ enduring presence with us as we wait for Him to return. Jesus ascended into heaven so that He could give us His presence through the Holy Spirit whose sole purpose is to guide us in our waiting. Celebrating Jesus’ ascension is celebrating the completeness of His victory, which is at work in us by the Holy Spirit. Message by Pastor Zach Sarrault Now What?
