🇪🇸 Port d'Andratx - Marina in the southeast of Mallorca, 2023 The Puerto ( Harbor ) is a cosmopolitan and lively place where different cultures come together thanks to the combination of sun, shopping and nightlife. It also has numerous sea activities. The marina is one of the best in the Balearic Islands and the sailing club has 500 moorings for pleasure and sport boats but don't worry even with an average salary you will feel comfortable here in this beautiful bay. The valley in which the bay of Port d'Andratx is located lies at the southern end of the Tramuntana mountain range which extends over the entire western part of the island of Mallorca. From the port you can clearly see the high mountains in the far distance. So it is not surprising that the famous dry stone hiking trail GR 221 starts here in Port d’Andratx. On the green hills and mountains that frame the bay on both sides, magnificent estates were built for this purpose which offer a fantastic view. Nevertheless, a lot of overexploitation of nature was done here as well. One has the impression that it was tried to use every surface to build as many villas and houses as possible.
