Attempted Sexual Assault 2006 Ridge Ave DC 17 22 025479

On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 2:00 am, the victim, a 22 year-old-female, reported that while on the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue she was approached by an unknown black male who forced her into an alley and onto the ground where her struck her in her forehead with a handgun causing minor injury. The suspect then walked her to her residence where he attempted to sexually assault her. After refusing the suspects advances he fled on foot and was last seen east on Thompson Street from 17th Street. The victim was transported to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment of a minor cut on her forehead and released. Suspect Description: Black male, 6’0", mid 40 years-of-age, thin build, wearing a black vest, burgundy top, dark colored denim jeans, and armed with a handgun.
