It’s also widely accepted that this author wrote both the gospel of Luke and the book of Acts. Luke-Acts is the biggest contribution by one single author in the New Testament. Luke’s gospel is known for lifting up the outcast in society. In Luke’s gospel Jesus brings liberation and hope to the poor, sick, and lost. Dominant Thought- Mary’s song announces that Christs advent is the most world transforming event imaginable, this brings unspeakable joy to the world” In other words… Mary’s song announces Christ’s transforming joy.
