Claude just rolled out a new feature that lets it create actual Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoints, Word docs, and PDFs directly in the chat interface. I tested it live and watched it build a real Excel file with AI news data, complete with web research and analysis. This is currently available for Claude Max users and rolling out to Pro subscribers soon, representing a significant step toward true agentic AI that can work with your files.
