Shaping Seeded Baguette

Shaping Seeded Sourdough Baguettes 🐦 Check out the related video for my baguette tutorial! Adding seeds to your baguettes is an awesome way to pack more flavor and nutritional density into your bread. To coat the baguette in seeds, roll it in a wet towel, then in the seed mixture. Here, I'm using sesame seeds, fennel seeds, poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, and a pinch of flakey salt. Seed Variations: 1. Pumpkin Seeds, Chia Seeds, and Nigella Seeds: A mix that adds a crunchy texture and a boost of omega-3s. 2. Hemp Seeds, Caraway Seeds, and White Sesame Seeds: This combination provides a nutty flavor with a hint of anise from the caraway. 3. Black Sesame Seeds, Millet, and Amaranth: These seeds offer a unique color contrast and a variety of textures. Just a heads up, if you have kids like me, be ready to be sweeping up seeds for a few weeks! 😄
