Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain: Mission 40 Extreme Cloaked In Silence Speedrun

You can eliminate the target under 1 and a 1/2 minutes. This method is extremely easy but bit tricky. With this stunt you will achieve "Neutralized Quiet with non-firearm attacks" as well as "perfect stealth" and an S-rank and "non-lethal" achievements. ===== WALKTROUGH IN WORDS AND WITH SOME TIPS ==== For the mission you need one stun grenade and four sleeping grenades. No need for a buddy. You can complete this mission with using only two sleep grenades. But to make the stunt go fluently, use them all. You and The Female Sniper will always spawn on the same locations. First crawl under the fallen tree trunk. Advance the left side of the map towards the sniping point. The aim is to approach her from a dead angle. When you are running on the shallow river mark the target if you want. The Female Sniper wont see you so you don't have to worry a thing (doesn't work with Raiden suit - she sees you running with all those lightning effects on the river). When you get closer to The Female Sniper she will become more aware of your presence. Remember to move silently approximately at the same point as I did in the video. Now comes the tricky part. Just below The Sniping Point you can find an ancient steps which leads to an old road. We cannot see it from our point of view, but we want The Female Sniper to take this route. So we need to be on a specific location to block her other possible routes. Here is how we do it: There is a good landmark - a square rock. The sniping point is quite high so if you are unfamiliar how to throw grenades further here is a short tutorial: There is two ways to throw objects in metal gear solid 5: Underhand and Overhand throw. To reach The Female Sniper you need to do an Overhand toss. In other words you have to press your "aim down sight" button and then hold your "fire" button down. You will hear a click and see how the projectile line changes on your screen. When you release your "fire" button you will execute an Overhand throw. Throw your Stun Grenade towards The Female Sniper. She will be stunned for couple seconds so you have to react fast. You need to throw three sleeping grenades with Underhand (normal) throw while leaving small gap between them. It takes a short moment until sleeping grenades start to release the gas. And your grenades should be there before The Female Sniper starts her escape. Throw it with Overhand (long) throw as far as you can onto the old road. Skip all cinematics to achieve speed S-rank.
