GHOST OF TSUSHIMA - PS5 GAMEPLAY WALKTHROUGH - PART 1 [4K 60 FPS] About GHOST OF TSUSHIMA: In 1274, the Mongol army led by Khotun Khan invades the Japanese island of Tsushima. Lord Shimura and his nephew Jin Sakai lead the island’s defense but are overwhelmed at Komoda Beach. Shimura is captured, and Jin is left for dead before being rescued by a thief named Yuna. Learning that the Mongols have taken over Tsushima, Jin attempts to rescue his uncle but fails, realizing that traditional samurai methods cannot defeat the invaders. Jin begins using stealth and guerrilla tactics, earning the title “The Ghost” among the people. With help from Yuna, her brother Taka, archer Ishikawa, Lady Masako, merchant Kenji, and his old friend Ryuzo, Jin liberates villages and inspires rebellion. However, Ryuzo and his Straw Hat rōnin betray him for the Khan’s bounty. Jin later frees Shimura and retakes Castle Kaneda, but the Khan escapes north, taking Ryuzo with him. As Jin gathers new allies — monk Norio, pirate Goro, and the Yarikawa warriors — he prepares for the next battle. Taka is captured and killed by the Khan, pushing Jin further down the path of vengeance. Jin later poisons the Mongols to win a key battle, saving many lives but breaking the samurai code. This act strains his bond with Shimura, who orders his arrest for dishonor. Jin escapes with Yuna’s help but loses his loyal horse in the process. In the final assault on Port Izumi, Jin kills Khotun Khan, ending the Mongol threat. However, the Shogun declares Jin a traitor, disbands Clan Sakai, and orders Lord Shimura to execute him. In an emotional duel, Jin defeats his uncle and must choose between killing him to honor the samurai code or sparing him to fully embrace his identity as The Ghost.
