While tailbone and wrist are healing, finding a way to increase heart rate and cardiovascular effort can be achieved through single arm battle rope variations. Single arm (up/down) patterns, side to side patterns, and small hops incorporated into the battle rope slams can minimize forces through the tailbone and wrist while still able to attain high intensity efforts. Time at an all out effort is important to stimulate desired outcome (Lactate increase and rate of clearing, or long VO2 max intervals interspersed with low intensity recovery bouts of exercise of another modality)
