TODAY'S GOSPEL: Luke 13:1-9 The Gospel for this Sunday reminds us that God is a mysterious God, but not a malicious or vindictive God. When tragedies happen to us, it is not because we are being punished; these are part of our human experience. Rather than looking at tragedies as punishment, look at the call to repentance that it represents. It is not a time of God’s judgement, but a time for us to judge ourselves and what is important to us.
