Infinity Painting—School of Painting

From Zeno’s paradox—where Achilles endlessly chases the tortoise—to the flickering pixels of the digital age and the volatile rise of AI, “#infinity” remains a persistent riddle and muse. Space is limitless, art knows no bounds, and the infinite continues to challenge and inspire creative expression. 𝐼𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑃𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 is both a visual algorithm of form, light, and theme, and an experiment in deconstructing and reimagining the very boundaries of painting. It asks: how can finite tools evoke the infinite? Here, painting is not a cold deduction of mathematical symbols, but a perceptual algorithmic reconstruction, alive in its dance between permanence and change. In this flux of tradition and contemporaneity, the 2025 graduates of the School of Painting push the medium forward. Across four disciplines—oil, print, mural, and mixed media—and twelve studio paths, their works carry both inherited techniques and bold material experiments. They approach art not as students, but as artists—questioning, challenging, and renewing. Each pursuit of the “infinite” yields its own missteps, and it is precisely these unexpected deviations that break open new possibilities. Whether preserving tradition or disrupting it—or wrestling with both—these young artists channel their journeys into vibrant, dopamine-charged energy. As time and technology reshape the world, painting remains ever regenerative. Like Borges’ Book of Sand, its greatness lies not in answers, but in endless questions.
