🌿 Prepare the Way of the LORD "A voice cries: 'In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.'" — Isaiah 40:3 The prophet’s cry is not only for nations, but for hearts. Each valley of despair shall be lifted, every mountain of pride brought low, and the crooked places of our souls made straight. In Hebrew, the call is: קוֹל קוֹרֵא בַּמִּדְבָּר פַּנּוּ דֶּרֶךְ יְהוָה (Qol qore bamidbar pannu derekh Adonai) — “A voice calls in the wilderness: prepare the way of the LORD.” This is the path we open within: To receive His love, for “We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). To let His glory be revealed, as Isaiah continues: “And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together” (Isaiah 40:5). To then make way for others, guiding them into the embrace of His mercy, because the love we carry is not our own—it is His gift flowing through us. Every act of humility, every prayer of surrender, every word of encouragement is a stone laid upon this holy highway. We prepare the way not only for His coming into our hearts, but for His love to reach others through us. Let Us Pray 🙏 Lord, make straight the paths within my heart. Lift the valleys of despair, humble the mountains of pride, and smooth the crooked places of fear. Reveal Your glory in me, that I may receive Your love fully and pour it out freely to my brother's and sisters in Christ. Teach me to prepare the way for others, that they too may walk upon the highway of Your mercy. For You loved me first, and in that love I find strength to love.
