26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

This is a recording of the Mass for the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time. It is a combination of the equivalent Mass from 2020, updated for this year's readings and prayers of the faithful. As Fr. Kevin Dillon, our Parish Priest, explains in an introduction, we did this as he is still in hospital, although hopeful of coming home this week. The Gospel and homily are from 2020 - but the messages are still very relevant. The Gospel introduction slide shows the Gospel reading for this week if you wish to follow up privately. The service was recorded in the Church of the St Simon the Apostle Parish in Rowville, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 23 September 2020 and 24 September 2021. Fr. Kevin Dillon, our Parish Priest, presided during the Mass in 2020. The hymns were recorded in 2020 on the dates noted in the credits at the end of Mass. The Mass was presented in accordance with all regulations in place in the state of Victoria on the days and all guidelines from the Archdiocese of Melbourne on those days.
