Define empirical formula and molecular formula with examples? Difference between empirical formula and molecular formula? Diffeteniate between empirical formula and molecular formula Explain empirical formula and molecular formula with examples Empirical formula and Molecular formula with examples? Empirical formula and Molecular formula? In this video you will learn and claer your concepts about this topic. Empirical formula and Molecular formula Empirical formula: The formula showing minimum relative numbers of each type of atoms in a molecule is called Empirical Formula. Empirical Formula shows simplest ratio of each atoms present in a molecule. Empirical Formula does not show the actual number of atoms in the molecule. Empirical Formula tells us the type of element present in it. Empirical Formula For Example: ( 1) Benzene has molecular formula C H . Which has simplest ratio hydrogen and carbon is 1:1, so the empirical formula becomes CH. (2) Glucose has molecular formula C H O . It shows the ratio as follows 6126 C H O 6126 6:12:6 1: 2: 1 C: H : O 2 So the empirical formula of glucose is CH O and have simple ratio 1:2:1 of atoms in 2 molecule of glucose. Molecular Formula: The Molecular formula is the formula which shows actual number of atoms of each element present in a molecule. Molecular formula is derived from empirical formula. Molecular formula Mass calculated by adding atomic weights of its atoms. Molecular formula of a compound may be same or multiple of empirical formula. For Example: Molecular Formula of benzene is C H , which have six carbon and six Hydrogen, molecular formula is an integral multiple (1,2,3 etc.) of the empirical Formula. Molecular Formula = (Empirical Formula)n where n=1,2,3,etc #empiricalformula #molecularformula #empiricalandmolecularformula #whatisempiricalandmolecularformulaclass9 #defineempiricalformulaandmolecularformula #differencebetweenempiricalformulaandmolecularformula #sindhtextbookboard #chemistry #chapter1chemistrysindhboard #chapter1chemistryclass9th #chapter1fundamentalsofchemistry #fundamentalsofchemistry #fundamentalsofchemistrychapter1class #fundamentalsofchemistryclass9chapter1sindhboard #lecturesbychemisteller #sindhboardlectures #punjabboardlectures #kpkboardlectures #balochistanboardlectures #federalboardlectutres #pakistanboardslectures Please like share comments and subscribe this youtube channel for improving your concepts #chemisteller stay connected and be happy in life.
