Today, I’m comparing three DeWALT cordless grinders. I’ve prepared my longtime workhorse, the DCG412, along with the recently released DCG407 and DCG4051 models. The two newer models were provided by DeWALT for review. When comparing specifications such as output power, the latest models naturally come out ahead. However, while revisiting the older model, I found a few areas where it still holds its own. It was interesting to take a closer look at a tool I’ve been using for years. Of course, considering the significant gap in release dates, the overall product improvements are substantial— to the point where a simple comparison almost feels unfair. That said, I was surprised to see that the price differences between the models aren’t as large as I expected.
