Methi Matar Paneer Masala😍 Ingredients • Oil – 5 tbsp (divided) • Paneer – 250 g (cubed) • Fresh methi leaves – 2 cups (finely chopped) • Fresh green peas – 1 cup • Cashews – 3 tbsp • Melon seeds – 3 tbsp • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp • Onion – 1 large (finely chopped) • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp • Tomatoes – finely chopped • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp • Red chilli powder – to taste • Salt – to taste • Coriander powder – 1½ tsp • Garam masala – ½ tsp • Kasuri methi – 1 tsp (crushed) • Fresh cream – 2–3 tbsp • Hot water – as required Preparation 1. Heat oil in a pan and pan-fry the paneer until lightly golden. Remove and keep aside. 2. In the same oil, add finely chopped methi leaves and green peas. Sauté until methi wilts and moisture evaporates. Keep aside. 3. Soak cashews and melon seeds in warm water, then grind into a smooth paste. 4. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 5. Add finely chopped onion and sauté until light brown. 6. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry until the raw smell disappears. 7. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, salt, and red chilli powder. Cook until tomatoes turn soft and mushy. 8. Add the cashew–melon seed paste and cook until oil separates. 9. Add the fried methi and green peas, pour hot water, and adjust the gravy consistency. 10. Cover and cook until oil floats on top. 11. Add fried paneer, coriander powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, and fresh cream. 12. Mix gently, switch off the flame, and serve hot. #methimasala #methimatar #paneermasala #paneerrecipes
